The essence of exceptional art lies in the life that serves as its muse. My source of inspiration comes from my two children, each possessing a unique essence and a profound empathy for the world. Engaging with nature fuels my creativity; be it through leisurely strolls, basking in the seaside warmth, or lounging on the grass observing the ever-changing clouds. Plants adorn my living space in abundance, sometimes overwhelming my diligent watering routine. Amidst my creative pursuits, my feline companion frequently darts across the frame during Zoom calls. I am grateful for the unwavering support of a remarkable community that has consistently championed my artistic endeavours.

My journey in design has been largely self-taught, starting when I enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of British Columbia. Though I only completed a year before deciding to prioritize building my portfolio. My foundation in graphic design began at a bible school, and from there, I delved into online resources like YouTube and various courses to enhance my skills.

Balancing retail work with a coding course and freelance design projects, I eventually secured a full-time position at Heritage Christian Online School. Over three enriching years, I progressed to the role of Visual Design Lead. Following this chapter, I took a hiatus to care for my newborn daughter and later my son.

Art has always been a part of my life, evident in the abundance of crayons, paper, and paints scattered throughout our home. With newfound confidence as a parent, I carved out time to refocus on my artistry. Transitioning into a full-time brand expert and identity designer, I diligently honed my craft, embracing the perpetual evolution of the art world.

The journey of learning and growth as an artist is ongoing, fuelling my passion and commitment to continually evolve in my creative pursuits.

I have always been drawn to art since I was a child, starting with "how to draw" books and experimenting with paint on canvases. Over time, my love for design grew as I transitioned to creating digital illustrations. However, it was helping businesses convey their stories that truly sparked my passion for design.

Diving into Branding and Identity Design, I channeled all my focus and energy into understanding how to maximize a brand's impact. I aim for excellence, integrity, and boundless enthusiasm in everything I undertake. When collaborating with me or interacting with my creations, you will witness my unwavering dedication and heartfelt commitment.
